FAQ
Do I need a paid Artivive account to take this course?+
No. A free Creator Account is enough for Modules 1 through 3, including trigger images, layers, and publishing. Modules 4 and 5 cover Timeline and Sequences, which are Pro Plus features on Artivive's side — you can still read those lessons on a free account and upgrade when you're ready to build them.
Do I need design or coding experience?+
No. Artivive's editor is entirely drag-and-drop. This course assumes no prior experience with AR, animation, or code.
What software do I actually need?+
Just a modern desktop browser for the editor, and the free Artivive app (or a WebAR-enabled artwork) to view your work on a phone.
How long does the course take?+
Most learners get through all five modules in four to six hours. It's fully self-paced, so you can spread that across a weekend or a few weeks.
Do I need to go through the modules in order?+
No — every module is open, so you can jump to whichever one you need. That said, they're written as a progression: Module 2 assumes the account setup from Module 1, Module 4 assumes the layer skills from Module 2, and Module 5 builds on Timeline concepts from Module 4. If you're brand new to Artivive, going in order is the smoothest path.
